The customer went for the Classica Natural slab. They have a non-slip smooth finish, superb hard wearing surface and vibrant long-lasting colour.
This 400x400 paving was prepared, laid and jointed by EPS skilled professionals.
This rear garden at a local business in Groomsport was great project using Gabion Baskets. The low level free standing wall was filled with a 9” Marble Gabion Stone. A concrete pad was then formed on top of the wall to support an open steel walkway, to gain access to the upper levels of the garden.
The rest of the Gabion Walls are for retaining the ground above at various levels of the garden. The baskets are filled with 6” Basalt by a Digger and professionally “faced” by EPS skilled operatives.
This home in Warrenpoint had an excellent view but the sloping garden meant they weren’t making the most of the space.
This is a typical application for a Gabion retaining wall. Where the wall is constructed and then backfilled to greatly increase the length of the garden. Shown is a 3.5 metre high wall, with a machine fill for the first 3 metres. The top 0.5 metre was faced by EPS skilled operatives. A 1.2 metre high timber fence was installed inside the Gabions for edge protection and we think finishes the job really well.
EPS also provided a Full Design by their Qualified Engineers and a Geotextile liner was specified to reduce sagging to the ground above.
For this project the Client needed a perimeter fence for their newly acquired Industrial Unit. They chose the popular 2.4m high 200x50mm Open Mesh Fence. The fence is galvanised and then polyester powder coated.
There was good access for our plant but It was hard dig. Concrete had to be cut and broke with rock hammer then concrete finished again after posts installed.
A ideal project for this fencing system.
After a storm smashed the existing 9” wall the Client needed an alternative for flood defence and demarcation for this beautiful plot at the edge of the Irish Sea.
Due to Gabions being porous and the robust rebound mesh and steel posts used in this system, a Gabion Fence was the perfect choice. EPS filled the Gabions with black Basalt sourced from the local area that allows the fencing to blend into the surroundings. A double leaf gate was also manufactured and installed on this project to allow safe access to the concrete jetty.
Gabion Retaining Wall Designed, Supplied and Installed on the Antrim Coast Road.
This project required a 3 metre high wall to stabilise the bank at the back of the site. The baskets were filled and faced with Black Basalt that was sourced from the local area. Gabions was the obvious choice for this application.
EPS completed a project near the Leighmore Hotel in Ballymena. New loft installation was laid to comply with current building regulations. Then new flooring was raised above new installation, to create a great storage area.
We then installed new timber fencing around the perimeter of the front garden. Finally in garden office we installed new floor, skirting, architrave and painted the interior.
